Ulan Bator - Dashinchilen
Breakfast early in the morning before going with a van towards West Ulan Bator to discover our Royal Enfield. The adventure begins prudently because, even if we're not in the centre of Ulan Batoranymore, traffic is still heavy. Then we take a good tarred road across the steppes until West. First herds, first nomads yurts, will be seen during this first day.
Night in the only hotel of the small village of Dasinchinlen. Although it's a countryside hotel, it has the advantage to propose warm showers.
Dashinchilen - Ogii lake
We still ride towards West on a very good road, before tasting the joys of the Mongolian track. We feel we are farther and farther when we reach Lake Ögii. Nestled in the middle of the steppe, this small fish=rich lake attracts many migrant birds that birds lovers can watch at leisure.
We'll spend the end of the day by the lake, walking or resting in the yurt. Those who wish can also hire fish equipment and try to catch a beautiful pike.
Ogii lake - Tsenkher hot springs
The early birds will enjoy a wonderful sunrise on the lake, before taking, not the road, but the track. We enconter many nomads and the track gets more and more hilly when we go closer to Tsenkher hot springs.
Arrival at Tsenkher hot springs, where you can lounge in the pools of hot water of the camp.
Tsenkher hot springs - Orkhon valley
Track towards Orkhon Valley. This valley is inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List, it's a land of nomadism where many breeders set up camp each summer.
The landscape is more and more mountainous and wooded. We join a nomads family in the heart of the valley.
Day 5
Visit of Ulan Tsutgalaan falls, white flood flowing on the black stone, transformed in rainbow by a short sunray… These 16-metres (52,49 feet) falls are just magic ! They formed 20.000 years ago, as a result of a unique combination of earthquakes and volcano eruptions.
Day 6
Those who wish will go pony trekking along Orkhon Valley, from the camp until Orkhon waterfalls.
Stay at herders' from the valley. During your stay, you will discover their way of life and you will be proposed many activities, such as milking, making traditional dairy products, or rounding up the animals with a horse.
You will also attend the preparation of a Mongolian barbecue that you will enjoy with yours hosts.

Kharkhorin - Khogno Khan
Visit of Erdene Zuu Monastery, built in 1586 by a nomad prince. The Chinese and Tibetan-inspired buildings are surrounded with 108 sacred stupas. Visit of the Museum of Kharkhorin.
