Located in the Bayan-Ölgii province in the southwest of Ulaangom, the Turgen Uul mountain range stands as one of the highest summits in the Altai mountain chain. Known locally as Tsaagan Deli—the White Heron in Mongolian tradition—this massif ranks among the most prestigious peaks of the region. With its snow-capped summits covering approximately fifty square kilometers, the highest point reaches an elevation of 3,965 meters. Birch forests and the Moson Gol river nestle at the mountain's foot.

The site harbors rare species including ibex, argali sheep, and snow leopards.

The high plateaus and valleys tucked between glaciers create an exceptional setting for adventurous trekkers and photography enthusiasts alike.
