Getting to Mongolie can be an adventure in itself. From Europe, five airlines serve the country: MIAT departing from Frankfurt or Moscow, Aeroflot with a stopover in Moscow, Korean Air with a stopover in Seoul, Air China with a stopover in Beijing, and Turkish Airlines with a stopover in Istanbul.

It is advisable to book early to benefit from better fares, as flights fill up quickly during July and August. If you have sufficient time, we recommend traveling from Moscow, Irkutsk, and Beijing via the trans-Mongolian railway. In addition to offering a more budget-friendly alternative, you will have the opportunity to travel on this legendary train. The journey from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar takes 6 days, and it takes approximately thirty hours from Beijing and slightly less from Irkutsk.
