Ögii Lake sits at 1,337 meters elevation, east of Arkhangai. It stretches 7.9 km long and 5.3 km wide, spanning 25 km² in total. Its maximum depth reaches 15.3 meters, though more than half the lake measures less than 3 meters deep.

This is an exceptionally fish-rich lake—home to pike, perch, carp, burbot, and weatherfish among other species—and a crucial stopover for migratory birds, particularly waterfowl from the Anatidae family. Local inhabitants regard it as a sacred place of spiritual significance.

Several ger camps dot its shores, where visitors can rent canoes for exploring the water. Anglers will find themselves in paradise, casting their lines into these abundant waters.
