A Solidarity Fund For Whom and For What?

This Monday, November 9, 2020, it is with great hope that we launch a solidarity fund in order to preserve jobs and continue to support all of our teams on the ground.

Since 2006, Horseback Mongolia has grown into a beautiful and large united family. Every summer, the agency employs more than 250 guides, drivers, cooks, travel advisors, as well as 150 nomadic host families spread across the entire Mongolian territory to offer you unique travel experiences.

Since February 2020, for 9 months, we have done everything in our power to preserve the jobs of our colleagues, loved ones, and friends. In Mongolia, the state cannot implement partial unemployment measures or guarantee other financial aid. We are currently living off our last reserves, we have already invested heavily from our personal savings to survive, but this internal generosity is no longer enough. We are now running out of resources and options.

This solidarity fund is our last hope to continue to support or sustain our teams while awaiting a return to normal operations, at least until May 2021. Because we owe them our success and the success of your travels, it is our responsibility today to fight to preserve their jobs.

Solidarity and Numerous Gifts Offered

Because at Horseback Mongolia we don't do things halfway and because generosity is also part of the Mongolian DNA, we want to thank our donors and will organize a grand contest at the conclusion of the fundraiser. Thanks to the support of our partners worldwide, we will offer more than €5,000 in prizes to donors wishing to participate in the contest and who have registered via our Facebook page.

On Thursday, December 31st, we will conduct 3 draws among all people who contributed to the fund.
