Deep in the Mongolian Altai, the Baga Turgenii Khurkhree waterfall cascades 36 meters down a rocky face within a pristine national park, between glaciers and nomadic encampments.

Situated within the Turgen Uul mountain range, the Baga Turgenii Khurkhree waterfall stands at 36 meters tall and drops in two tiers: a first cascade of 23 meters followed by a second of 13 meters. The Turgen River originates from the mountain of the same name, fed primarily by glacial melt.
