21 Feb. 2010 Mongolians welcomed the lunar new year on February 14, the first day of the Year of the Iron Tiger, as the country faces a difficult situation with the loss of more than 2 million head of livestock due to Zud.

The President of Mongolia visited the country's oldest person to greet them on this first day of the new year. This year, the newly elected president, Mr Ts. Elbegdorj, paid a visit to P.
