Fetishism is the belief that objects have magical powers or possess a spirit. The appearance of the object and its own main characteristics are bound. The colour, smell, texture, or sound of objects or animals express important features. For example, the colour white means purity and any white object is supposed to be pure.
Moreover, trees, mountains, animals with a particular shape, are supposed to be sacred, because their shape expresses special or magical inner features. The worship of trees, animals or rocky formations still exists nowadays. Traditional Mongolians also respect the symbol of shapes and colours.
