The Shargaljuut Thermal Resort

Located in Bayankhongor Province, the Shargaljuut thermal resort encompasses around a hundred mineral hot springs spread across more than 2 hectares. These hot water sources originate from the granite formations of the river of the same name. Due to the heat emanating from the region's dormant volcanoes, they rank among the country's hottest springs.

Nestled on a mountainside at 2,510 meters altitude, along the riverbank, the Shargaljuut thermal resort offers a magnificent setting for relaxation in a peaceful atmosphere. Among the various treatments and therapies available on-site are: mud baths, mineral hot water baths, liniments, aerotherapy, and massages.

Visitors can enjoy a wellness cure by staying in one of the resort's hotels and taking advantage of all on-site amenities: restaurants, fitness facilities, clinic, sauna, Jacuzzi, children's play area...

The Mogoït Springs

Head toward central Mongolia and the must-visit Orkhon Valley to discover the Mogoït Springs. Located 18 km southwest of Bat-Ölzii, in Övörkhangaï Province, these hot springs are cherished by both travelers and locals alike.

These springs hold sacred significance for many locals because they were discovered by the Mongolian religious leader, Zanabazar Javzandamba Khutagt. What is certain is that they possess excellent therapeutic properties for health. Indeed, enriched with high levels of sodium sulfate and fluorine, the springs are renowned for relieving joint diseases, nervous system disorders, gynecological conditions, and allergies.

The Tsenkher Hot Springs

Located 25 km southeast of Tsetserleg, in Arkhangai Province, you'll find some of Mongolia's finest hot springs: the Tsenkher Hot Springs. Perched at 1,860 meters altitude, the resort is renowned for the curative effects of its waters, which flow year-round at approximately 85°C. This hot water source owes its existence to the numerous ancient volcanoes in the region.

Composed of sodium carbonate, bicarbonate, sulfate, fluorine, and hydrogen sulfide, the waters of Tsenkher Hot Springs are known to alleviate various ailments, including joint disorders and nervous system troubles.

Installed in a magnificent green and forested valley, ger camps welcome visitors from across the globe and from within Mongolia itself. Indeed, many urbanites from Ulan Bator as well as some nomads come here for healing and relaxation. Depending on the season, visitors can enjoy indoor or outdoor pools.
